First thing in the morning from 9.00am weekdays and Saturdays {Sundays 9.30am} come and enjoy our luxury coffees and speciality teas and read the free papers, enjoy our own very special traditional English breakfast {very popular!} or try our light breakfast selection -the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs are very popular!!.
Fancy a cake then try our home made cakes, our customer's love our carrot cake and our special recipe coffee and walnut cake, or try our home made various selections of scones freshly made each day. Our customers adore our cakes and pastries so much we often have to make more that day to keep up with demand!! Everyting is made on the premises to our own reciepe.
Lunchtime arrives and then it's time to choose from our cafe menu of speciality sandwiches, Panini's, wraps, as well as all our home made lunctime meals.
Our homemade lasagne {Mrs Fernies own recipe} is always popular, in fact we are often asked for the recipe but it’s a closely guarded secret, Italian tourists dined with us last year and loved our lasagne so much they came back 4 times to eat they loved it so much!!!
Our very popular homemade light main meals like lasagne and our speciality burger, and made to order omelettes are much in demand. Our Chefs prepare a freshly homemade soup every day and offers some wonderful light lunchtime specials like Chicken Linguine or Home made pie,but be warned our specials are so popular we often sell out! If you fancy being naughty we have some mouth watering desserts to compliment your lunchtime meal. We have something for everyone so please see our daytime menu. Whether it is a quick lunch or leisurely lunch you choose and then enjoy.
If you like your cappuccinos and espressos then you will be delighted to know that our coffee machine is straight from Italy to ensure that your coffee is how it should be, listen to the hissing of the machine, the grinding of the coffee, and that lovely fresh aroma, it all makes the enjoyment of your coffee much better.
You will find our waitress staff and our experienced team of Chefs happy to help and here at Fernies nothing is a problem.
You can see all your food being prepared as we have an open kitchen, which we believe is great for customers to see as we are no ping ping establishment!
